A short, plain-English version is at the top. The full policy follows. We don't sell your data and never will.
The short version
- We collect what you give us through forms (name, email, phone, message) and basic site analytics (page views, referring source).
- We use it to respond to your inquiry and, if you opt in, to send you market reports and listing updates.
- We do not sell, rent, or syndicate your information to third-party lender networks, lead aggregators, or AI training datasets.
- We use Formspree (form processing), Google Analytics 4 (anonymous traffic data), and Google Maps (the embed on the contact page). That's the entire third-party stack.
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@laquintarealestate.com.
1. Who we are
Desert Reserve ("we," "us," "our") is a California-licensed real estate brokerage operating under DRE #01247161, principal broker Alisa Gibson Williams. Our office is at 77564 Country Club Dr, Suite 220, La Quinta, CA 92253.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you fill out a contact form, schedule a tour, request a market report, or sign an NDA, we collect the information you submit (typically: name, email, phone, message content, and any property or transaction details you choose to share).
Information collected automatically. Like virtually every website, we log basic analytics through Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, time on site, country/region (city level only), referring URL, and device type. This data is anonymous and aggregated.
Cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (session, language preference) and a Google Analytics cookie. We do not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies.
3. How we use it
We use your information to: respond to your inquiry; conduct real estate or business brokerage services if you become a client; send you market reports or listing updates if you've opted in; comply with legal and regulatory requirements (including the California DRE).
4. How we share it
We share your information only with: (a) service providers strictly necessary to deliver our services (Formspree for form processing, Google for analytics and maps); (b) lenders, escrow officers, title companies, or attorneys, but only with your express consent during an active transaction; (c) law enforcement or regulators if legally required.
We do not and will not sell your personal information.
5. Your California privacy rights
California residents have the right under the CCPA and CPRA to: know what personal information we hold about you; request a copy; request deletion; opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your data (we don't do either, but the right exists); not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. To exercise any right, email info@laquintarealestate.com with your name and the request. We respond within 45 days.
6. Data security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS site-wide), access controls, and reputable third-party providers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated via email if you've opted in.
